Commuter, Faculty, and Staff Dining Fall 2016

This year, choose savings and convenience - and dine on campus with us, enjoying over 22 dining locations right at your convenience! Whether you are a commuting student or a staff member, you have eight convenient dining plans from which to choose: Freedom Dining PLUS+ (the best value), Freedom Dining basic, one of six Swipe plans (30,60,90 PLUS+ or 30,60,90 Basic), or a flexible Flames Cash plan. FREEDOM DINING PLUS+ (New to Fall 2016!)

Freedom Dining PLUS+ is our new meal plan for residential students that we offer to commuter students and staff as well! Freedom Dining PLUS+ offers the best value of the meal plan options, at just $1850.00 per semester (which is pro-rated to offer a continuously reduced rate each week after the first week of the semester). It comprises three flexible and cost-saving components:

  • Unlimited Dining   
    Enjoy unlimited access to your all-you-care-to-eat dining halls     
    (Entry into Reber-Thomas Dining Hall once per hour during operating hours) 

*Closed for convocation.

  • PLUS+ Swipes  

10 PLUS+ Swipes per week to be redeemed at ALL retail locations around campus

  • $200 Per Semester 

$120 in Dining Dollars to use anywhere on campus

$80 in Flames Cash to use on or off-campus

SWIPE PLANS (New and improved for Fall 2016!)

Swipes will never be the same beginning in the Fall 2016 semester! This fall, commuters and staff will have the option of buying 30,60,90 PLUS+ swipes or the 30,60,90 basic swipes. PLUS+ Swipes allow you to swipe at ALL locations on campus!
Purchase these meal plans in the Shop Now link! Ran out during the semester? No problem - you may purchase these meal plans as many times as you like. (PLUS+ Swipe Plans will be available to purchase once Fall 2016 registration opens)

Dining Dollars / Flames Cash

  • Load Dining Dollars & Flames Cash onto your Flames Pass via your MyLU Portal, or through the Card Services website, and via the two on-campus kiosks.
  • Load Dining Dollars / Flames Cash in any increment.
  • Receive discounts at all dining locations on campus when using Dining Dollars / Flames cash. 10% discount at all national brands on campus (e.x. Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, and Dunkin' Donuts) 
    15% discount at all Sodexo brands on campus (e.x. SubConnection, Simply To Go, Bistro '71)

Note: Flames Cash and Dining Dollars can be added to a student's account through the Campus Services website and via the two on-campus kiosks. Plans are active for the semester they are purchased and do not carry over to the following semester.
