Student Culinary Council
Established in the Spring of 2016, the Student Culinary Council (SCC) redefines the relationship of traditional dining committees by enhancing student awareness, campus opinion and messaging regarding dining on campus. The SCC also creates a vehicle for sharing the new and exciting innovation and stories about campus dining with others.
At SCC, we want to hear from all students on campus! If you think you would be a great fit for this program, sign-up for one of our meetings and make a difference in your dining on campus!
The Student Culinary Council (SCC) is a student-driven program developed by Sodexo that creates an engaged, responsive relationship with students to help build a more fulfilling student dining experience. The SCC is also run by your peers to create an ever more influential environment to express your ideas and ask questions.
The SCC will meet every 1st Monday of the month!
Our meetings will be held in the bottom floor of the Tinney Cafe.
Focused meeting topics and exclusive student activities give members an active role in defining and refining your dining program. They do this through four key aspects at the core of this initiative:
- Talk - Students learn about what is great about their dining program
- Taste - Members try new and exciting dishes that showcase the focus on trending flavors
- Learn - They learn about food, trends, nutrition, and more
- Share - Students can then share what they learned with others
